'I Love London' is The Malthouse's first installation presenting the culmination of a series of workshops exploring multimedia art practice and what it means to live in and love London by students from Barking Abbey and Eastbrook schools. Led by Godfried Donkor with support from Studio 3 Arts and based on Donkor's SPACE exhibition 'Story Of a London Township' earlier this year, it forms the first of three commissions  for the Artists Programme which aims to introduce young people from Barking to the creative and cultural industries.

The Artists Programme is funded by London Thames Gateway Development Corporation, University of the Arts London, Widening Participation Department, Eastbrook and Barking Abbey secondary schools.

The Malthouse is the first phase of the Creative Industries Quarter in Barking which is currently being developed, led by London Thames Gateway Development Corporation.
