Abbey Green, Barking

Come along to Abbey Green and you will be able to experience all the fun of the borough's biggest green event of the year. The Big Green Circus Top features this year, and it holds several green exhibits, all of which are generated by wind turbines and solar panels. Children can try out the wacky bikes, get their faces painted, enjoy puppet making and circus skills workshops and make music using junk percussion instruments.

Animals from Wellgate City Farm will also be on display and people can get a bicycle health check with Dr Bike from Halfords. There will be music played by a local brass band 'Barking Band' and a theatre performance by Compost Mentis.
